Choose a member type below to join as a new member of BOMA Fort Worth.

The Internal Revenue Service requires all nonprofit associations to provide the following statement: As a result of changes adopted as part of the Revenue Reconciliation Act of 1993, 9.3% of your dues payment to BOMA Fort Worth is not deductible by members as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Tax revisions have declared lobbying expenses are not deductible.

Each company must have one (1) Principal member. If your company is currently a member of BOMA Fort Worth, please select Principal - Additional below.

Principal and/or Principal-Additional membership includes ten (10) monthly membership luncheons, all mailings during the year, access to the Membership Directory on the BOMA Fort Worth website and member rates for events, courses, seminars and publications. The dues investment for your company in both BOMA Fort Worth and BOMA International is paid on a calendar year basis.


Limited Engineer membership is designed for those engineers who wish to receive pre-selected benefits from BOMA Fort Worth at a reduced rate. Benefits include four educational luncheons a year as well as a subscription to the BOMA Fort Worth newsletter.

To qualify for a Limited Engineer membership, the building or company for which the engineer is employed must have a BOMA Fort Worth Principal member in good standing. Those engineers who wish to have full membership benefits in BOMA Fort Worth should complete the Real Estate Membership application.


Emerging Professional membership is open to individuals who are 35 and under and/or have 7 years or less experience in the industry. As an Emerging Professional, you receive local benefits only and will not be recognized as a member of BOMA International. Local benefits include access to the BOMA Fort Worth weekly newsletter, discounted rate to attend monthly luncheons, networking and educational opportunities, as well as the ability to join committees.

To qualify for an “Emerging Professional” membership, the building or company for which the person is employed must have a “Principal” or “Allied” member in good standing with BOMA Fort Worth. You are ineligible for this membership if you have been a dues-paying member of BOMA Fort Worth within the past two years.

Principal Members shall be individuals who represent a firm or business whose primary function is to manage commercial real estate; supervise commercial real estate managers or management firms; own or operate commercial real estate; and/or develop, sell, acquire, or lease commercial real estate. There shall be only one Principal Member from each company. Each Principal Member in good standing is entitled to one (1) vote on all matters that the Members of the Association are entitled to decide.

Principal Additional Members shall be an employee of the Principal Member’s firm or business who is currently a member in good standing with the Association. Each Principal Additional Member shall have all the privileges and duties of a Principal Member except that they may vote only if they hold the proxy of an absent associated Principal Member. Further provided, that a Principal Additional Member shall only be eligible to hold an office when they have the written consent of the Principal Member from the same firm or business.
