We invite you to join BOMA Fort Worth’s upcoming Monthly Meeting, where we will engage in an important discussion on one of today’s most urgent social challenges: homelessness.

Our guest speaker, Matthew Delaney, will offer critical insights into the complexities of homelessness, particularly in Fort Worth, and explore how these challenges are affecting properties both locally and nationally. This presentation will provide an in-depth look at the root causes of homelessness in the Fort Worth area, where it’s estimated that over 1,000 individuals are experiencing homelessness at any given time, with the number steadily increasing in recent years.

Matt will also share effective strategies for the real estate community on how to mitigate the impact of homelessness on their properties, while ensuring that homeless individuals are treated with empathy and respect. You’ll learn how to create a safer, more empathetic environment for everyone in your building, all while protecting your assets.

This discussion is crucial for anyone involved in property management, building operations, and anyone in commercial real estate, as it addresses both legal and ethical considerations. We encourage you to bring your questions and engage with Matt, who will also provide valuable resources and actionable recommendations for further involvement in addressing homelessness.
